Virginia Olga Eichhorn, age 89, passed away on January 31, 2009 at Christopher House in Austin, Texas. She was born on December 13, 1919 to parents Alfred Carl Levien and Adele (Ander) Levien of Woodsboro, Texas.

Virginia Olga Eichhorn was an employee of the Round Top State Bank for 30 years. She served as a teller and in various positions over the years. She was a member of Bethlehem E.L.C.A., Hermann Sons of Round Top Lodge #151 and the Round Top Warrenton Volunteer Fire Department. She was a past member of D.Y.D. Club and R.T.C. Mother’s Club.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Farris and her husband Marty; one granddaughter, Ashley Farris; one grandson, Chris Pereiro; one brother, Cordell Levien and his wife Corrine; one great-grandson, Christian Pereiro and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Carl and Adele (Ander) Levien; one daughter, Carol Henderson; brothers, Kenneth Levien and his wife Konda, Leroy Levien and his wife Lucille and Herschel Levien and his wife Ella Mae; one sister, Norie Neapolitan and her husband Julius Neapolitan; one sister-in-law, Nina Levien and one niece, Stacy Deanne Copeland.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top. Pastor John David Nedbalek will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the Florida Chapel Cemetery near Round Top, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top or Christopher House Hospice located at 2820 MKL Blvd. Austin, Texas 78702 or to Round Top Warrenton Volunteer Fire Department.
