Vernice Findeisen, age 85, passed away on Sunday April 7, 2013 in La Grange.
Vernice was born on September 2, 1927 to Monroe Reuter and Leona Birkelbach Reuter in Round Top, Texas. She was baptized November 6, 1927 and confirmed on March 26, 1972 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top.
She married Rogers Findeisen on October 19, 1947 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top, Texas.
Vernice is survived by her husband Rogers Findeisen; two daughters; Becky Bohot and husband Calvin of La Grange, and Connie Michalsky and David Caughman of La Grange; four grand daughters, Angela Bohot of La Grange, Zabrina Karstedt of La Grange, Crystal Richter and Chris Graeter of La Grange, and Tiffany Michalsky of La Grange; four great grandchildren; one aunt, Inez Gebhard of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Verna Beth and brother Loyd Reuter.
Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors at this time.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange.
Interment will follow in Nassau Cemetery in Round Top, Texas.
