Teresa Cornejo passed away on September 12, 2010.
Teresa was born on May 31, 1963 the daughter of Sylvester and Margaret (Torres) Diaz in Kountze, TX. Teresa was dedicated to her job having worked for Fayette Memorial Hospital and what is now St. Mark’s Hospital for the past sixteen years. One of her past times was traveling with the ocean being her favorite place to go. Teresa enjoyed watching sports and listening to rock and roll music. Teresa had a love for life and could bring a smile to everyone she met. Above all Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Donald James of La Grange, one son Eric Pittman of La Grange, mother, Margaret Westbrook and husband Allen Borman of La Grange, three sisters; Rebecca Diaz of La Grange, Penny and husband Kyle Adams of La Grange and Diana and husband Andy Westbrook of Austin TX; grandparents, Sally and Vicente Torres; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday September 14, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday September 15, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday September 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Internment will follow at Winchester City Cemetery in Winchester.
