Susan Clark

Susan Ann Hemphill Clark, 52, received her heavenly wings and entered the kingdom of heaven on October 31st, 2016 in Schulenburg, Texas. Susan was born May 20th, 1964, in Austin, Texas; she is the daughter of Lloyd and Betty Ann Hemphill.

Susan was more than just a mother – she was a sister, an aunt, a cousin, and a friend. She had a heart of gold and touched the lives of many. She will always be remembered for her contagious smile, her sense of humor, her gentle soul, her love for people, and her tremendous love for the Lord. She enjoyed various outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, gardening, and spending a lot of time underneath the trees in the pasture by her camper. She loved her four-legged fur babies, Lois and Ozo. She was also a good friend of Bill W.

Susan is survived by her husband, Donald Clark of Hallettsville, Texas; father, Lloyd D. Hemphill of Schulenburg, Texas; three children, sons, Ted Stanhope Jr and Michael Stanhope—and daughter, Melinda Sims. Susan is also survived by her brothers, William and Daniel Hemphill, and her sister, Carol Voelkel.

There will be a memorial service for family and friends to gather in sharing their memories of Susan in Schulenburg, Texas on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 from 12 P.M. – 2 P.M. on the family land that she loved and cherished so much.
