Stacy Deanne Copeland, age 38, of Round Top passed away on July 27, 2008 at St. David’s Medical Center. She was born on July 19, 1970 to parents, Clarence Copeland and Maydelle (Levien) Copeland in Houston. Stacy grew up in Pasadena and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and graduated from San Jacinto College.
Stacy Deanne Copeland worked in the medical field as a respiratory therapist until medically disabled in 2000. She battled heart disease and other medical problems for many years.
Her greatest joy and pride of her life is her son Tyler, age 11. Stacy loved taking short trips when medically able, reading, browsing the internet, shopping when she was able and watching old movies (her most favorite movie was “Coyote Ugly”) and cooking.
Stacy loved spending time with Tyler and her niece, Mikaela, her family and friends. Her greatest joy was to help and do things for her family and friends. She was a giver. Stacy had come to be at peace with her life and had accepted Jesus as her Lord. She was a member of the Round Top Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include her parents, Clarence and Maydelle (Levien) Copeland of Round Top; one son, Tyler Copeland of Round Top; one sister, Kristy Culberson of Austin; a niece, Mikaela Culberson of Austin; special friends, Victor, John, Heather and Annette of Temple and Freida Baker of Tennessee.
Stacy Deanne Copeland was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hershel and Ella Mae Levien and Daner and Vivian Copeland and Clarence Baker.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Round Top Christian Fellowship Church in Round Top. The Reverend Matthew Diehl will officiate.
