A Mass of Christian Burial for Santos Avalon Little, 66, of La Grange, Texas is set for 11:00 AM, November 17, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Interment will follow at Rutersville Cemetery. Visitation will be November 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
Santos was born November 17, 1955, in Galveston, Texas to Mary Avalos Little. He was later adopted by CD Little. He married Karin Hamilton Little November 10, 1982, in Pasadena, Texas and they moved to La Grange in 1994 to raise their family.
Santos enjoyed spending time every morning at Whataburger with his “coffee group”. Santos loved classic cars, wrestling, Cowboys football and classic rock and roll. He enjoyed being outside, liked to go fishing and was always helping people. He was instrumental in the development of a scholarship to La Grange High School in his daughter, Tonia’s memory. He truly never met a stranger. He was goofy and outgoing. He was a master mechanic. He was a “roll with the punches” and “take the good with the bad” kind of guy that will be greatly missed by so many.
Santos was preceded in death by his parents, CD & Mary Little; daughters, Stacy Hall-Little, Tonia Hamilton Little, and brother, Tony Garcia.
He is survived by his wife, Karin Hamilton Little; sons, Michael Little (Kasey), Robert Sanchez; and daughters Julia Garcia (Jesse) and Christy McMillan (Elton). He is also survived by grandchildren, Elexis Morrison, Ethen Little, Kaori Little, Atlee Little, Victoria Cantu, Brianna Garza, Anthony Garza, Destiny Scalise, Isaiah Scalise, Jordan Sanchez, Julyssa Sanchez, Eltyana McMIllan, and Brendan Hall.
Pallbearers will be Mike Little, Ethen Little, Robert Sanchez, Elton McMillan, Jordan Monroe, Ralph Dunk, Neal Janacek, Dylan Hamilton, and Trevor Hamilton.
in lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Santos family.
