Ruby Irene Lehmann of Warda, passed away on November 9, 2009, in La Grange at the age of 91.
Ruby was born on May 23, 1918, at Nechanitz, the daughter of August and Theresa Jurk Pietsch.
Ruby married Willie G. Lehmann on July 29, 1937 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.
Ruby was a homemaker, a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.
Ruby is survived by three sons; Jimmie and his wife Carolyn of Warda, Wallace and his wife Carol of Warda, and Harry and his wife Patricia of Warda; one daughter Cydell Hartfield and her husband Paul, of Serbin, along with a daughter-in-law, Sandra Lehmann of Warda.
She is also survived by one brother, Clarence Pietsch, Sr. and his wife Adeline of La Grange; one sister-in-law, Lorine Pietsch of La Grange and one brother-in-law, Roy Lehmann and his wife Ruth of La Grange.
Ruby is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie and a son Allan.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday November 11, 2009 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A prayer service is scheduled at 7:30 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday November 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church Building Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
