Ronald Charles Hentschel, age 48, of Giddings, Texas, passed away on November 2, 2011, in Elgin, alongside of his twin brother Donald Wayne Hentschel.
Ronald was born on February 24, 1963, in La Grange, to Robert Lee Hentschel, Sr. and Lois Ahlschlager Hentschel.
Ronnie attended La Grange High School and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. Ronnie's fondest times were spent fishing, hunting, making sausage, gardening and Nascar racing.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Jodi, of Giddings; three daughters, Lynette Hentschel, Kaylin Helmer and husband Chris and Ashley Hentschel; three brothers, Ray Hentschel and wife Sharon, Robert Hentschel, Jr. and wife Rhonda and Russell Hentschel and wife Jennifer; four sisters, Judy Wagner and husband Willie, Joyce Escalante and husband Fernando, Joan Gersch and husband David and Janis Lehmann and husband Ricky; four grandchildren, William, Nicholas, Sasuke Mitchell and Tajah Hentschel; step-mother, Frances Hentschel; one step-brother; six step-sisters, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Hentschel, Sr.; sister-in-law, Angie Hentschel; great-niece, Emma Johnson, his grandparents and one step-brother.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday November 6, 2011, from Noon until 8:00 PM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A prayer service is scheduled for 6:30 PM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday November 7, 2011, at 10:00 AM, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.
