Philippa Louise Hall, who was so special in so many ways has left our embrace for the embrace of God. She was born on June 7, 1948 in Houston, Texas. She spent most of her life in Houston and Bellaire, but she also lived in Ribera, New Mexico and La Grange, Texas.
Philippa Louise Hall passed away on December 14, 2008 at the age of 60 years of age.
Today is a time of both deep sorrow and profound joy for her life and the lessons she gave us. Her small light illuminated each of us, teaching us that the simplest road is the best. Her laughter, tenderness, affection and infectious smile will be missed, but they will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara (Bettler) Hall; her sisters, Barbara Stuart Hall and Margery Hall Marshall; her brothers, B. Dan Hall, III and his wife, Janet and Bruce D. Hall and his wife Lisa; her cousins, David T. Bettler and his wife Gabi and Michael D. Bettler and his wife Lucia, their families, an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, warm caring friends and her cat, Pearl.
She was preceded in death by her father, B. Dan Hall, Jr.
The service for the Burial of the Dead will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1015 Holman at Main, Houston, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008. The Reverend Murray Powell will officiate at the service. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas.
