Otto Charles Stolle, age 89 of La Grange, passed away on January 14, 2011 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange.
Otto was born on October 17, 1921 at Fayetteville, Texas to Otto E. Stolle and Minnie Cholett Stolle. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.
Otto was a lifelong resident of the La Grange area. He married Dorothy Liebscher on December 19, 1957 in La Grange. Otto was a retired farmer.
Otto is survived by his wife, Dorothy of La Grange; son, Richard of La Grange; brother, James Stolle of La Grange; sister, Genelle Krebs and husband Nolan of Shelby; sisters-in-law, Leona Stolle and Lorine Sunderhuse of La Grange; brother-in-law, Light Liebscher of La Grange; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Otto was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kermit Stolle and a sister-in-law, Irene Liebscher.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday January 16, 2011, from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Prayer Service is scheduled for 5:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in La Grange.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday January 17, 2011, at 10:30 AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange. Burial will follow at the Rutersville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutersville Cemetery or St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund in La Grange.
