Ora Louise Bayless, 77, of La Grange passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2010. She was born on December 17, 1932, in La Grange, Texas the daughter of J.W. and Edna (Werth) Bandy.
She is survived by daughter Betsy and husband Don Chovanec of La Grange; two step sons Scott and wife Judy Bayless of La Grange, Bruce and wife Emilia Bayless of Shiner; step daughter-in-law Mary Jane and husband Richard Henning of La Grange; grand children Lori and Justin Hollek of Weimar and Chad and Amanda Chovanec of Holman; four great grandchildren; eight step grandchildren, along with numerous step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Edna Bandy; infant daughter Candice Freytag; first husband Daniel Freytag; second husband Melvin Bayless and one step-son Keith Bayless.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday December 17, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive visitors from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday December 18, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
A private burial will be held in La Grange City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fayette County Animal Shelter of La Grange or Hospice of South Texas, 404 N Texana, Hallettsville, TX 77964.
