Nancy Wells

WELLS, Nancy E. Williams, 70, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 in La Grange, surrounded by loved ones. Daughter of the late Darrell and Emma Lou Williams of Morgan Mill, Nancy was the widow of the Robert B. Wells, Jr. of Stephenville. She is survived by her loving children Scott Wells and Stacey Wells of Morgan Mill, Stacey’s fiancé Rick Henry, Scott’s wife Laurie, and granddaughters Amanda and Taylor. Other survivors include sisters -in-law Mary Ricks of California, Debby Leksell of Iowa, Suzy Wren and her husband Tom of Virginia, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in 1945, Nancy graduated from Kimball High School in 1963 and attended North Texas State University. She loved her family, friends, dogs and the Texas Rangers. Nancy was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in La Grange. A memorial service will be held on Aug. 6th at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fayette County Animal Shelter.
