Nadine Elvira Walther, age 85, of Schulenburg, passed away on June 27, 2011.
Nadine was born on June 1, 1926, to Rudolph Schwausch and Selma Buscha Schwausch. She married William Walther on October 22, 1948 in Houston.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Henk; grandchildren, Rodney Henk, Chris Henk and wife Denise, Jennifer Knigge and husband Glen, Wendi Baker and husband Thomas and Crystal Walther; great-grandchildren; Colby and Colton Knigge, Tyler and Kylie Henk, Sean, Shelby and Matthew Baker; step great-grandchildren, Courtney McElroy and Amanda Jasek and husband Josh; step great-great-grandchildren, Greenlie and Belle Jasek.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Danny Walther; grandson, Shawn Walther; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna and Richard Intrau, Cora and Melvin Tausch and Gladys and Joe Guillot.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday June 30, 2011, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday July 1, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Lutheran Cemetery.
