83, of Dallas, formerly of Houston and Fayetteville, passed away on July 22, 2008. She was born in Fayetteville, Texas on December 8, 1924, to Joe and Mary (Baca) Kubena. She married Homer H. Brannon on June 3, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. She was a homemaker.
Mary Brannon is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Homer Brannon of Dallas; a son, Larry and his wife, Mika; and one granddaughter, Gina Brannon of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Howell Brannon.
A service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Park City Baptist Church in Dallas for her friends and church family in Dallas. Visitation at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange will take place on Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2008, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis McKenzie officiating. Interment will be in the La Grange City Cemetery.
