Margaret E. Swiontek, age 100, passed away on April 26, 2009 at Monument Hill Nursing Center. She was born on October 29, 1908 to parents Alexander and Mary (Wysocki) Swiontek of Valparsio, Indiana.
She spent many years of her life being a dedicated and helpful nurse to her patients. She was a retired nurse.
She is survived by one great-nephew, Rusty Friedman and his wife Marilyn of La Grange; a nephew, Bob Friedman of Huntington, New York; a niece, Katy Friedman Rath of Israel and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Private services will be held.
Memorials may be made to Brazos Valley Hospice or a favorite charity.
