Malcome Conine of Carmine, Texas passed away on May 26, 2010 at the Waco Veterans Hospital. He was born on March 19, 1914 to Marcella and William Conine in Grand Saline, Texas. He was preceded in death by this parents and his wife of 65 years, Evelyn.
He worked for Gray Tool Company in Houston for many years. After retirement, he taught swimming and first aid for the Red Cross. He was also active in the Disabled Veterans Organization and served as Commander for many years.
He is survived by his son, Wayne Conine, Sr. and wife Donya of Cloudcroft, NM; three grandchildren, Wayne Conine, Jr. and wife Kristi of Granite Shoals, Texas, Trevor Conine of Cloudcroft, NM, and Kelli Fest and husband Jason of Kingsland, Texas. Ten great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday May 28, 2010, from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday May 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine. Burial will follow in Carmine City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.
