Lorine I. Pietsch, age 93, of La Grange, passed away on April 7, 2012.
Lorine was born on August 16, 1918, at Warda, Texas, to John Hobratschk and Hulda Mitschke Hobratschk. She was married to Anton F. Pietsch on October 31, 1937, at Warda. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.
Lorine is survived by one daughter; Nancy Pietsch of La Grange, one son; James Pietsch and wife Sharon of La Grange; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Pietsch of Austin; one sister, Minnie Hendrix; one sister-in-law, Adeline Pietsch; four grandchildren, Brian Pietsch, Stephanie Shreiner, Sherrill Kelnar and Michele Stokes; eight great-grandchildren, Kasey Shreiner, Kaitlyn Shreiner, Sarah Kelnar, Patrick Kelnar, Travis and Caleb Stokes, & Andrew and Briana Pietsch; numerous nephews and nieces also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Royce Pietsch, one great grandson Ryan Stokes, four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday April 10, 2012, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A prayer service is scheduled for 6:30 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday April 11, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Warda.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Ladies Aid Society in Warda, Hospice Brazos Valley or to the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department.
