Lois Verline Rudloff of Fayetteville passed away on May 27, 2010, in Austin, Texas.
Lois was born on February 24, 1931 at Park, Texas to Elmon H. and Antoinette Havemann Treybig. She married Rubin O. Rudloff on June 4, 1949 at Shelby, Texas. She was retired from Texaco Credit Union. Lois was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelby, the American Legion, Sons of Hermann and was Secretary of the Shelby Cemetery Association.
Lois is survived by her husband, Rubin O. Rudloff of Fayetteville; one sister, Louise Klimek of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers-in-law, Dennis Rudloff of Fayetteville and Percy Rudloff and wife Norma of Round Top. She was also the special aunt to nine nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents a brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelby, with Rev. Linda Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Shelby Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby, the St. Paul Lutheran Church Choir of Shelby or the Shelby Cemetery Association.
