Leroy Wetjen

Leroy Bryant Wetjen passed away on November 17, 2016 in Weimar, Texas. He was born on November 22,1926 to Edward and Bertha Wetjen.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 18, 2016 from 1:00-7:00 pm at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 19,2016 at 1:00 pm at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Interment will Follow at Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon.
Leroy was proud of his service to our country in the Army during WWII. He enjoyed ranching and tending to his cattle. He spent his good times travelling with his wife Mildred and hauling around kids and grandkids. He was an active member of his church, Faith Baptist Church in Smithville.
Leroy is survived by son John Wetjen and wife Linda; daughters Joan and husband James Ivy, Jan and husband Jarvis Anderson, Judy and husband Kendall Jordan; grandchildren John Christopher Wetjen, Candace Wetjen, Lauren Wetjen, Andy Ivy, Bobby Ivy, Camryn Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Cameron Jordan, and Elizabeth Jordan and great-granddaughter Haylee Schultz.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mildred: wife Pearlie; sisters Lera Wetjen, Esther Davis, and Carrie Mae Reed; brothers Gilbert Wetjen and Julian Wetjen; and son Mark Edward Wetjen.
