Leona Frances Kristof, age 86, of La Grange passed away on September 29, 2008. She was born on June 1, 1922 to parents, Vince Orsak and Frances (Foyt) Orsak of Fayetteville, Texas.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Leona Frances Kristof is survived by her son, Eugene Kristof of Austin; her son, Tom Kristof and his wife Gladys Kristof of La Grange; one daughter, Joyce Faldyn and her husband Allen Faldyn, Jr. of La Grange; one sister, Evelyn Ilse of Ellinger; one sister, Bernice Kovalcik of Baytown; two grandchildren, Bradley Faldyn and his wife Kami Faldyn of Tomball and Tracy Faldyn of San Francisco, California; one great-grandson, Jaxyn Bradley Faldyn of Tomball; five step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jim Orsak and Eddie Orsak and C. J. Orsak.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. A Rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum. Father Joseph Kariuke will officiate at the service. Interment will be in the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Plum.
