Kennie Louis Hall of Canyon Lake, passed away on November 18, 2009 at the age of 61.
Kennie was born on August 29, 1948 in La Grange, to Herbert and Delta(Bartling)Mischer.
He was a graduate of Texas A & M, class of 1970 and was retired after 34 years from Cal Tex Citrus Juice, Inc. in Houston.
Kennie was married to Susan Luedecke on May 29, 1971, at Industry.
He was a member of the Hermann Sons, Northwestern Wildlife Association, Canyon Lake Breakfast Club, Kinsmen Lutheran Church, Dairy Science Club when at Texas A & M, HABA (Houston Area Blacksmiths Association) and President of King’s Cove Homeowners Association.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hall of Canyon Lake; one son, Spencer Hall, a student at Texas A & M; his mother, Delta Mischer of Oldenburg. He is also survived by two brothers; Eugene Hall and his wife, Carlyn of Oldenburg, David Hall and his wife, Dorothy, of Buda, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Mischer and a nephew, Charles Hall.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2009 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at St. John Lutheran Church, in Rutersville, with the Reverend Karen Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Florida Chapel Cemetery, near Round Top.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rutersville, or to the charity of one’s choice.
