John Nehring, II

John “Johnny” Lee Nehring II, 47, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends the evening of February 11, 2022. He was born November 21st, 1974 to Keith & Lynn (Hutto) Nehring. Johnny worked at R & D Truck Accessories, in La Grange for 19 years. Although he didn’t have a specific title it was common knowledge that Johnny had all the answers. He was the go-to for just about anything. Johnny was never afraid to lend a hand, or share his genuine unforgettable smile.

Johnny had simple pleasures throughout his life. One was his love for grilling at “The Big Top” also known as his back yard. Another was his dogs Bo and Luke, he truly loved his dogs and he had many stories of their mischievous behavior. A day on the river was a day well spent with Johnny. He also enjoyed his small garden, canning his famous jalapenos and pickles while sipping on Tito’s and Cranberry.

Johnny was predeceased by his father Keith. He is survived by his mother Lynn, and sister Kristin Stephenson and husband Dustin, cousins David Cochran and wife Heather, nephews Cody Jacob and Noah Stephenson.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:30 pm, Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter.
