John M. Havelka was born on March 8, 1917 to Julius V. Havelka and Bozena Kubala Havelka. He passed away on July 22, 2009 in La Grange, Texas.
John was a self-employed radio and TV repairman. He also worked for 35 years at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. He was a member of the KJT.
John is survived by a sister-in-law, Bessie Havelka of La Grange, numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, three brothers and two nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday July 23, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The body will then be moved to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn where visitation will be held until recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday July 24, 2009 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn. Interment to follow in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn.
