Isabel Orona

Isabel Palacio Orona, 68, of La Grange passed away on January 20, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange from 5:00-7:00PM. Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM.

A funeral mass for Isabel will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00AM.

Isabel was born on December 1, 1950 to Brigido Palacio Cervantez and Teresa Martinez. She married Rogelio Rangel Orona on March 22, 1965. She worked for La Grange Independent School District for 20 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a hard worker. Isabel was always willing to help and loved people. She enjoyed travelling and singing. Most of all, she loved and enjoyed time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, son Brigido Orona, daughter Elvira Alvarado and husband Pedro, daughter Elsa Gonzalez, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Clemente Palacio.
