Franklin Daniel Muesse, Sr. age 68, of Fayetteville passed away on July 11, 2008. He was born on January 30, 1940 to parents, Elo Muesse and Christina (Chovanek) Muesse in Fayetteville. He was a life long resident in the Fayetteville area. He retired from National Flange & Fitting located in Houston, Texas. Franklin Daniel Muesse, Sr. enjoyed fishing, his cattle and the outdoors.
Survivors include his mother, Christina Muesse of Fayetteville; his mother-in-law, Grace Hinze of Round Top; one daughter, Sharlyne Friedrich and her husband Mark of Katy; two sons Franklin D. Muesse II and his wife Jennifer of Katy and Bradley Muesse and his wife Kimberly of Katy; one sister, Mary Jane Treybig and her husband Cleward Treybig and one brother, Abraham Muesse and his wife Barbara. Eight grandchildren, Brandon Muesse, Jordan Muesse, Paden Muesse, Megan Muesse, Blake Muesse, Dalton Friedrich, Grace Friedrich & Lucas Friedrich, all of Katy,Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Muesse; his father Elo Muesse; and his father-in-law C. W. Hinze.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 14, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top, Texas. The Reverend John David Nedbalek will officiate. Interment will be in the Hill Cemetery in Round Top.
