Funeral services for Eva Lee Tonn, 97, of La Grange will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton with, Pastor Marcia Kifer, officiating. An interment service will follow at the Florida Chapel Cemetery Pavillion in Round Top.
Eva Lee was born September 25, 1918 in Warrenton, Texas, Texas to Alfred and Katy Alhorn Marburger. She married Robert Tonn on January 12, 1941 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2011.
Eva Lee was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She loved sewing and quilting.
She is survived by 3 nieces: Pat Delk and her husband, Bill of Austin, Gwen Dykes, and her husband, Joe of Buda, and Louann Stokes of Spring; 2 great-nephews, Brandon Dykes and Tim Stokes, and 1 great-niece, Amy Delk also survive.
Eva Lee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Vivian Klatt Braun.
