Emil James “Bubbie” Kaluza, age 62, of La Grange, passed away at his home on June 26, 2013.
Emil was born on January 30, 1951, in Hallettsville, to Emil Franklin Kaluza and Ann Rose Korenek Kaluza. Emil was a bee keeper, rancher,computer specialist. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was President of Fayco Beeks, a member of the La Grange American Legion, former Treasurer of the Blackjack Cemetery Association, and the Fayette County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed bee keeping and bowling.
He is survived by his fiancé, Molly Pickett; one brother, Paul Kaluza; three nieces, Julia Klesel, Anna Gabler, and Yvette Martinez; two aunts, Helen Korenek and Lola Taylor; two cousins, Keith Korenek and Taylor Korenek.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Paul and Annie Mach Korenek; uncle, Paul James Korenek and great-uncle John Mach.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday July 1, 2013 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
Memorial services are scheduled for Monday July 1, 2013, at 10:00 AM , at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in La Grange with a private family interment.
