Edward Hurley, age 80, of Smithville formerly of Victoria passed away on May 19, 2008. He was born on October 22, 1927 to parents, Edwin Hurley and Bessie (Bryant) Hurley. He was retired from the DuPont plant in Victoria. He served his country by being a member of the Air Force.
Edward Hurley is survived by his wife, Wanda Joy ( Snider) Hurley of Smithville; two sons, Donald Edward Hurley and his wife, Susan of Houston and Kenneth Ray Hurley and his wife, Rhonda of Denver, Colorado and a daughter, Linda JoAnn Adamson and her husband, Jerry of San Antonio. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Bill Sims will officiate. Interment will be in the Winchester City Cemetery.
