DONNA JEAN SCHIELACK

Visitation for Donna Jean Schielack, 67, of La Grange will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in La Grange. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston.

Donna was born December 6, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Louis and Dorothy (Teague) Kominczak. On January 8, 1977, she married Bruce Schielack in Houston Texas. After 20 years of service to the great State of Texas, Donna retired from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Donna was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Fayetteville.

Donna loved humming birds and dragonflies, time at the beach in Galveston, family and friends, her daughter and grandchildren, books about JFK and Jackie, most things yellow, and keeping Bruce in line.

Donna is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bruce Schielack of La Grange, her mother Dorothy Will of Houston, daughter; Cilka Stout of La Grange, grandchildren, Baylee and Paisley Stout of La Grange, sister, Lori and husband Scott McBrayer of Houston, and brother, Joe Kominczak and wife Rebecca of Panama City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Kominczak and daughters, Latitia McKey and Jessica Schielack.


In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the American Cancer Society, or a charity of ones choice.
