Dolores Tomanec of La Grange went to her heavenly home on Thursday May 3, 2012 at the age of 80 years.
Dolores was born on January 19, 1932 in La Grange, Texas to Roy and Mary Pazderny Krenek. She married Bernard Tomanec Sr. on November 12, 1948 in La Grange. This union was blessed with a son, Bernard Tomanec Jr. As a retail store owner she spent most of her time working at the business.
Dolores was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange, she was an active member of the Catholic Daughters, and the Altar Society.
She is survived by her son Bernard Tomanec Jr. and wife Sandy of La Grange, granddaughter; Tracy Hughett and husband Brett of La Grange, brother in law; C.A. Weishuhn of La Grange, sister in law; Thea Krenek of Dallas, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, two brothers; Lawrence Krenek and Leroy Krenek, one sister in law; Bernice Weishuhn.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday May 4, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange the family will receive visitors during this time. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM in the chapel.
There will be a private family graveside service on May 5, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter at 240 Svoboda lane in La Grange or the charity of one’s choice.
