Debra Kraatz

Debra Kay Kraatz was born on January 16th, 1954 in La Grange, TX. She entered her forever home at the sweet age of 65 in Houston, Texas.

Debra is preceded in death by her loving parents Wilfred Dale Kraatz and Delores  and Clarence “Smitty” Smith. Grandparents Charlie and Erna V. Tiedt  and Arthur and Emilie Kraatz. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Gary Dale Kraatz and wife Jeannie; Nephew, Jason Kraatz and wife Janette; Niece, Nichole Warden and husband Chad. Great-nieces and nephew, Alexis, Jacob, Kelsi, Addison, and a host of friends and family.

Debra was an excellent cook and baker. She loved and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Debra devoted more than 42 years to her employer, Southwestern Bell. She loved her job, and did it well. She adored her great nieces and nephew and they knew when “Aunt Debbie” was coming over she would have a bag a goodies along with a fresh batch of her signature sugar cookies waiting for them. She will be remembered most as a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life.

The family will receive friends and family for services celebrating her life held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:00am at Waldeck Cemetery 7191 Waldeck Cemetery Rd in Round Top, TX 78954 .
