Charles Novak

Charles (Charlie) Novak passed away on November 17, 2017 at Monument Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in La Grange.
Charles Novak was born on January 15, 1931 the son of Charles Novak Sr. and Mary (Tupa) Novak in Flatonia, Texas. He married Beatrice Janacek on September 12, 1959.
Charles was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by one son Mark Novak and wife Sharon, one daughter Cynthia Novak, and one grandson, Zachary Novak, all of La Grange. Sisters-in-law Dorothy Janacek and Alice Stepanek, and her husband Guthrie, both of La Grange, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice, his parents Charles and Mary Novak, sisters Marie and Anna (infant twins), Anne Moore and Josephine Vyvjala and one brother Gus Novak. Brothers-in-law Garnet Moore, Alfred Vyvjala, Wesley Janacek, Herman Janacek, Willie Janacek, Edward Janacek and Jerry Jancek. Sisters-in-law Angeline Janacek, Florence Janacek, Dorothy (Willie) Janacek, Annie Janacek, Leona Muras and Edith Janda.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday November 19, 2017 from Noon until 8:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Expansion Fund, CDA Court Annunciation Scholarship Fund or the charity of your choice.
