Gene passed from this life on November 21, 2018 in La Grange, TX.
A celebration of life for Cass Eugene Adcox, Sr., 75 of La Grange will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  Private services will be held at a later date.

Gene was born October 31, 1943 in Greenville, TX.  Gene graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, TX and served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Mazama.  Gene spent over 30 years employed in the oilfield sales and service industry and enjoyed fishing along the gulf coast as well as spending time with his family.
Gene is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Adcox of La Grange, two sons:  Cass Adcox, Jr. of San Antonio, and Cory Adcox and wife, Melissa of San Antonio; 2 grandchildren:  Emery Marcella Adcox, and Nora Winnifred Carrion-Adcox, and niece, Cindy Adcox Trahan.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents Katherine Davis and Hess Henry Adcox, and brother, Ross Adcox.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter, 240 Svoboda Lane, La Grange, TX 78945.
