Carol Ann Roensch, age 56, of La Grange, passed away on June 25, 2013.
Carol was born on September 29, 1956, in La Grange, to Edwin Louis Karstedt and Lena Bohac Karstedt. She married William James (Billy) Roensch on April 22, 1978 in La Grange. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was employed in the Fayette County Clerk’s office. Carol enjoyed Tae-Kwan-Do, loved sports and the Women’s Bowling Association.
She is survived by her husband, Billy of La Grange; daughter, Crystal Roensch and her fiancé Peter Wostarek; son, Michael Roensch, all of La Grange; three sisters, Janie Neiser and husband Daniel of Weimar, JoAnn Blume and husband Ricky of Lockhart and Teresa Schneider and husband Jerry of La Grange; two brothers, Edwin Karstedt, Jr. of La Grange and James Karstedt, Sr. and wife Kay of La Grange; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Henning and husband Richard of La Grange and Judy Buchanek and husband Bobby of Rosharon; two brothers-in-law, Charles Roensch and wife Diana of New Braunfels and Curtis Roensch of Bayou La Batre, Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Edwin and Lena Karstedt; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Mary Roensch; brother-in-law, Keith Bayless and sister-in-law, Mary Roensch.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday June 27, 2013, from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday June 28, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Interment will follow in the La Grange City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ARDS Support Center, Inc., 7172 Regional Street, #278, Dublin, CA. 94568-2324.
