Carol A. Hollway Katz, age 66, of La Grange, passed away on November 6, 2012.
Carol was born on November 15, 1945 in Hondo, Texas, to Leslie Holloway and Dorothy Davenport Holloway. She enjoyed quilting, was a tournament bridge player, enjoyed her dogs and farm animals and was a loving wife, grandmother and friend to many.
She married Charles Katz in 1969 in Conroe, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; one daughter, Stacy Ford of Houston; one son, Clayton Katz of Houston; two sisters, Kay Lynn Holloway of Austin and Pamela Langston of Burton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday November 12, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church in La Grange.
Private interment will take place at La Grange City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund in La Grange.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Holloway.
