Beverly Ann Terrazone-Fisher, 79, known to many of her family members as “Callie” (a reference to the song “Caldonia”), longtime resident of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Columbus Community Hospital.
Born in Orange County, California, to Rafael Terrazone and Margaret Marquez-Terrazone, Beverly was known throughout her life for having the special gift of quickly connecting with strangers and touching their hearts in an amazing and uncanny way—a talent which served her well as a counselor and nanny. Although she moved to Texas in 1985 with her husband, Richard “Dick” Fisher, whom she married in 1972, she maintained close connections with her beloved siblings, cousins, and friends in California for her entire life.
Missing her in the mortal realm are her daughter Joyce Fisher Hazlerig and son-in-law James “Cedric” Hazlerig; daughter Margaret Fisher Richardson and son-in-law Glen Richardson; son James “Jim” Fisher and daughter-in-law Daphne Hernandez-Fisher; grandchildren Samuel Richardson, Sophia Richardson, Joseph Richardson, Lucy Richardson, James Fisher Jr, and Alexandra Fisher; sister Cynthia Terrazone-Gonzalez; half siblings Gary Terrazone and Lisa Terrazone; dear friends Rebecca “Becky” Vasquez and Olivia Canchola; godchildren Jesus Vasquez, Rebecca “Beckah” Vasquez, and Elizabeth “Lisa” Galan-Sanchez; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Awaiting a joyful reunion in the Beyond are her husband Richard Fisher (d. 2011); her sisters Mary Jane Terrazone-Zuniga and Katherine Terrazone-Jimenez (d. 2022); her sweet poodles, including Tina, Lady, and Princess; and an uncounted number of cats, all named George.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and her cremains shared amongst those who loved her as they celebrate her life in private ceremonies across the continent.
