Betty Perkins

Betty Joyce Perkins, age 73, of San Angelo and formerly of La Grange passed away on May 30, 2008. Betty Joyce Perkins was born on October 16, 1934 to parents Leon Delbert Morris and Georgie Alie (Deaton) Morris. She married John Richard Perkins on May 1, 1959 in Houston. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, John Perkins; one daughter, Kimberly Maldonado and her husband, Robert of Spring Town, Texas; two sons, Richard Perkins of San Angelo and Orville Perkins of San Angelo; one grandson, Josh Gates of Mount Belview, Texas; one sister, Mildred Boyd of Port Acres, Texas and two foster children, Carl Forest of San Angelo and Charles Surbornson of San Angelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Delbert Morris and Georgie Alie (Deaton) Morris.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 2, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors after 4:00 p.m. on Monday evening. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ellis McKenzie officiating
