Barbara Jean (Bobbie) White, age 88 of Dubina passed away on Monday June 22, 2015 at her residence.
Bobbie was born on July 2, 1926 in Burbank, CA, to Frederick Charles Wilson and Evalyn Williams Wilson. She married Donald Richard White on July 3, 1948 in Glendale, CA. She was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston, TX, a member of the choir, PEO, Steven Ministries and the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known by all as such a “sweet lady”.
She is survived by three daughters; Pam and Leon Ahlers, Sharon and Marcus Hartensteiner and Sandy Kana; one son; Chuck and Cathy White; eight grandchildren; Fred and Jennifer Hartensteiner, Gretchen Koopmann, Wes and Maggie Ahlers, William and Sasha Kana, Chase and Shelby Rayburn, Mandy Kana, Jordan White and Parker White; eight great-grandchildren; Nicholas and Kaylee Koopmann, Kaidence, Kali, Kashlin and Knox Kana, Adeline and Eleanor Hartensteiner; her sister Sandra and Milton Culver; sister-in-law Vernell Bootz and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and son-in-law Dennis Kana.
A family memorial service in her honor will be held at a later date.
