ANNA K. JANSSEN, 102, OF LA GRANGE WAS BORN IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA AND PASSED AWAY WEDNESDAY, JULY 9, 2014 IN BANDERA, TEXAS.
SHE WAS A LONG TIME MEMBER OF SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH. SHE WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE CDA COURT ANNUNCIATION #1962. SHE WAS A VERY ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE ST. MARK’S HOSPITAL AUXILLARY FOR 40 YEARS.
SHE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBANDS, WILLIAM VERR, SR. AND FRIEDRICH “FRITZ” JANSSEN. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SON AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, WILLIAM AND MOLLY VERR OF BANDERA AND HER DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW, NANCY AND GREGG BUTLER OF ARGYLE, TEXAS AND 2 GRAND DAUGHTERS AMY AND JENNIFER VERR.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WILL BE HERB JANSSEN, PHIL OESTREICH, BEN BOHUSLAV, GUY ABBEY, ERIC SOLIS, AND STEVE PESICK.
VIEWING WILL BEGIN AT NOON, FRIDAY JULY 11, 2014, WITH VISITATION WITH THE FAMILY FROM 5-7 PM AT FAYETTE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME IN LA GRANGE. ROSARY WILL BE RECITED AT 7:00 P.M.
A FUNERAL MASS WILL BE CELEBRATED AT SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH IN LA GRANGE AT 10:00 A.M. SATURDAY, JULY 12, 2014.
INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW AT THE HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CEMETERY IN HOSTYN.
