Alma Louise Froehlich, age 96, passed away on February 22, 2009 at the Heart Hospital of Austin. She was born on October 27, 1912 to parents Paul and Pauline (Lehmann) Teinert of Priddy Mills County, Texas.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Alma Louise Froehlich is survived by one son, Wallace Froehlich of Katy; two daughters, Vivian Taylor of Weimar and Marian Appelt of Round Rock; one brother, Leon Teinert of Rabbs Prairie; two sisters, Johanna Pietsch of La Grange and Louise Wagner of Springdale, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Ruhvella Eckelman of Houston; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son and her husband Roland Froehlich.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange. Reverend Dennis Bragdon will officiate at the service.
Interment will be in the Winchester City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Hour or the charity of one's choice.
